Merry Christmas and a happy New Year from Kesgrave Panthers

Wishing all cycle speedway folk a very happy Christmas from Cycle Speedway
Down the Ages.

Coventry cycle speedway club would like to wish all their friends and rivals, both at home and overseas, a very special Merry Christmas. Christmas is a time to reflect and to look forward with hope. With these ideals in mind, we recall that at this time, just three years agowe had no competitive club, our track was completely overgrownand just three of us met at the track each Thursday hoping for a miracle.

Well, the most wonderful miracle happened. Thanks to all those that played a part in making the Coventry club by far its strongest its ever been. Especially we thank all those that came to the British Final, which to us was a celebration of our amazing recovery.

We hope our story sends hope to those clubs, and individuals in their

personal lives, who wish for better times. We send special Christmas greetings to our adopted Polish brothers, Damian, Robert and Binky and their families, you will always be remembered in our minds and hearts at Coventry.

A joyful Christmas time to you all!
Dave Foster, Coventry CSC Chairman

Pat and Brian Makepeace would like to wish the cycle speedway community
the very best of seasonal greeting and hopes for sound growth and development of the sport in 2014 and the years ahead.  Our particular best wishes and thoughts are with the Southampton club and everyone who has been involved since 1963 and helped to provide us with such significant memories - and a time to remember those no longer with us.  A very happy and peaceful Christmas to you all.
